Finished my friend's Kona Penthouse today after work. I am very pleased to with the outcome and happy to be allowed to pick components and colour. Most parts are moved over from my own road bike. It is sort of sensible parts with 5800 mechs and shifters and DA chainset for style.
Wheels are Mavic A319 on WI front hub and Novatec rear. My parts bin special if you will.
Here the bike is setup for IG photos. It will feature boring winter tyres and probably less white bar tape eventually pretty soon as he will use it for winter and summer riding. Hopefully mudguards as well if I end up cycling with him this year :)
