I don't really take much notice of this stuff - my version of wild camping is normally super discreet and LNT (and illegal). It's the muppets that rock up in a van, light a fire and leave a bunch of glass and cans and shite around that ruin camping spots.
Not everything illegal is wrong, not everything legal is right.

Some. Also affects tarps. Admittedy, they are probably aimed at protecting the ancient woods. But camping is already prohibited in all the locations you might be able to hammock/tarp.
Also reducing the permitted wild camping areas.
