The front is like that on the MK2. Seems odd to take the front bumper off and still have the back one on.
Also as a MK2 it is not a Lotus cortina as lotus didn't build it. It was the Cortina Lotus. Do not make that mistake in MK1 circles.
Wonder if the back doors just de locked or welded shut.
Sad thing that I notice, as the bonnet is raised the car most likely has the crossflow block rather that the precrossflow so needs a bit more height to get the gt carb (downdraft) on with a decent size air cleaner so the engine does suck the air cleaner in.

Surely just delocked.
Why wouldn't you smooth them in if you were going to respray? Plus it's probably quite handy to be able to open them up now and then if it's a project car.
Bonnet fit kinda works imo. But the boot makes it odd. But could well be WIP.

It does have a Lotus badge on the back, but no idea if there's anything Lotus about it other than the badge, don't think I've ever seen a Lotus Cortina in anything other than the classic cream and green livery.
