Yeah I'd echo @ElGonzo . I'm 5'7" and I usually go for around a 16" frame although it varies a bit with sloping top tubes. I reckon an 18" frame should be good for you.

Also found this fairly recently. The GT was meant to be my dad rig with Wald etc but I failed to notice the fact that the Planet X forks had no eyelets or brake hole so this rough and ready Orange Clockwork 10th Anniversary will take on that job. I've just got some semi-slick tyres for it and I have a Wald 139 to fit along with some other bits and pieces.
