any CAMRA members on here you only have 4 more days to vote for CBOB. took me all of 10 mins as could ignore some of the new more fanciful categories they have thrown in this year.

My local beer shop (and an excellent one) is doing an Advent Calendar this year.

I know Johnny is going to have some super rare stuff in this but...

Still only a fiver a day, I suppose, for xmas cheer.

£5 a bottle doesn’t seem too bad. I guess if they’re 330ml it’s a bit steep but then still cheaper than drinking out most places

Depends. A Northern Monkey so a fiver for a 'normal' pint is outrageous.

Fiver for a half Imperial I've not had before seems OK. 🤷

If I just want cheap £1.99 ale then a Spoons is just down the road but Timmy...

And he and his family are really nice. Support your LBS after all.

I recently bought 2 dozen bottle of I&G, it's ok, but am still working through them.

I prefer the rum cask, but won't be rushing to restock.

I need to go on an Old Tom hunt as Sainsbos seem to have dropped it from their range permanently

Got a couple of jazzers for tonight, including the Northern Monk - Norse Star III, black forest imperial stout. I've liked the previous Norse Star, not that means much with a totally different flavour, but generally NM stuff sits well with me
(Apart from the distilled stout Spirit of Death that tastes like burnt rubber)
