  • I feel it'll finish the look well

  • I also feel strongly about silver guards, its a really nice build.

Also loving the internal dynamo routing, very constructeur ( in a sensible non-wankery way).
If you don´t like the gym, my tip is to get a kettle bell in your wieght class. When we were fresh with offpsring #2 it was the only training that I could always rely on to stretch in to my day (or evening really) .

  • Ta. Have some dumbbells but I feel that the gym makes it more likely that I actually work out :)

  • WIP

I'll swap saddle, bars and stem to something else, this isn't working for me. And I bought some 2.4" Maxxis Ardent in all black I hope will fit the forks. Not really sure about the hole thing. But I am enjoying the tinkering.
Rear wheel is just placeholder until I swap out the axle in the matching hope rear wheel.
Also I need all white downtube decals. The blue is just too off.

  • Dropped off stuff at the painters this morning before work.

Cargo bike is going to be gloss RAL 6014 yellow olive and the all road frame is going to be RAL 6004 blue green.

  • Finished my friend's Kona Penthouse today after work. I am very pleased to with the outcome and happy to be allowed to pick components and colour. Most parts are moved over from my own road bike. It is sort of sensible parts with 5800 mechs and shifters and DA chainset for style.
Wheels are Mavic A319 on WI front hub and Novatec rear. My parts bin special if you will.

Here the bike is setup for IG photos. It will feature boring winter tyres and probably less white bar tape eventually pretty soon as he will use it for winter and summer riding. Hopefully mudguards as well if I end up cycling with him this year :)

  • This is super nice. What bars are these (sorry, I know this will be somewhere back in the thread)? Very pleasing compact shape to them.

  • Polished Deda RHM01

  • Ahaha I have a set of deda rhm that you had inspired me to take down to the metal and polish! Funny they’re actually very similar bars

  • Excellent, as we've come to expect

  • Refreshingly inexpensive! Cheers.

  • That's my middle name :)

  • Ta. Very rewarding to use cheap but nice and familiar parts

  • The Kona is superb, so understated but loving the seat post and stem faceplate panto. And the weathered Flite is just so.

  • 0.4 scoble bricks?

    great work!

  • Thanks. No fit has been done yet. I imagine the wants it slammed a bit

  • It's my personal flite. He is not gonna get I am afraid :)

  • Got a little extra cash this month so naturally I invested in some quality parts for my bin 🙄
