Looking for a long sleeve jersey for 7-15C (with maybe dwr) but can't find anything. Wearing my Perfetto (2018?) on these kinds of (early start) rides so far but it's getting worn (no pun intended)
Looked at Albion: no stock, colours aren't to my liking anyway
new RCC LS: The micromesh fabric looks too thin, I don't think it's a good replacement
Castelli: New Perfetto looks good, like how they fixed the naming confusion, love the zips, but I'm not liking the taped seam look and the colour options
Sportful: Looks weird, no side zips either
DHB: They have a jersey and a jacket option (Equinox/Lab), jacket looks good but might be too much, jersey doesn'tAt this point I might start going for a short sleeve jersey + burner + arm warmers + gilet.

Think Albion LS Jersey should launch next week, and - incase you saw the older season colours on the product page - upcoming colours here;

Le Col Pro Aqua Zero is a very good all-autumn jersey. £50 off if you complete the Strava challenge as well.

Thanks, I gave it a try, still waiting for the Albion release to compare them both. I can say that the colour (green one) is bolder than expected (which is not good or bad)

Has anyone had success removing logos from things to move it towards being stylish kit >>>
Scorpion logos for example.

Do I remember a bib leg length chart floating around here? Had a look back but can’t find…

The castelli logos wore off my gabba... just have dark shapes where they once were. Doesn't look particularly good though, just looks old

How does the sizing compare to Pro Team?
-
• #5970
Even the size info has worn off... it's 8 years old. From memory it's something like XXL where my pro team winter jacket is XL. I'd try on if you can though.

where are they - could you cover up with iron-on black reflective patches?
And where are you? Hoping to do some more 'repairs & upgrades // welcome all' workshops before the end of the year, prob in Deptford.

Do iron on reflective patches work well with stretchy lycra? I’d love to add some more reflectivity to the various pairs of old bibs I use for commuting
-
• #5973
I’d say not good as an industrial press, but ok if you use reflectives designed for domestic irons (thicker adhesive, lower melt point), stick to lower stretch/stress areas, and along seams (but not over) which will stretch less.
Follow instructions / watch YouTube for tips & tricks to get best results. If you’re pressing onto a domestic ironing board, it’s probably a ventilated grill or has lots of small holes in; pop an off cut of wood under the padded cover to get a completely flat, solid surface to press onto. The standard board surface gives irregular adhesion because of the ventilation.

Anyone got a link to that etsy shop for a (romanian??) guy who made nice custom caps? Can't find it for the life of me.
Edit: found it: https://www.etsy.com/shop/TurificHandmade?page=1#items

So they are on the sleeves just below the shoulders. How would the the Goretex Infinium stand up to being ironed? I've also wondered about a combination of glue and minimal stitches to attach some sort of patch?
Would love a workshop but sadly not local to Deptford anymore, thanks for the input.
