• I think the view of steel being best is old hat now, and that a good quality acrylic is the superior of the two. It's nicer to get into, holds heat more consistently and you don't need to worry about chipping them. Same end goal but I would go for acrylic over steel every time.

  • Yeah the chipping thing is a worry, but (yeah I know) last bath I bought was a kaldawei for £80 from builders depot.

    The problem is the bath install/location needs to be higher up so something has to be under the feet and the walls are hollow brick.
