Lucky for you I'd looked into this for my Kona a while back but decided against it. About £50, can't remember where but someone vouched for these guys as I'd bookmarked it just in case...

That looks perfect I’ll keep it in mind! £50 is very reasonable. Your research is not in vain

I have disc tabbed Surly Steamroller fork that I'd sell for about £50. Can get some pics up if you'd be interested.

Bit of a dredge... I've got a univega alpina heading my way, which I'd like to use disc brakes on. All the frame builders round my neck of the woods are either fully booked for the foreseeable or £££. I'm just trying to size up my options, was wondering if any of you with the relevant equipment would be willing to add the mount and s brace if I were to send the frame, and how much you'd want for labour and materials? Obvs I'd arrange and pay for the return of the frame.
Just putting this question out there, without having done much research into it myself yet.
I’ve got a trusty surly steamroller that I’ve been toying with the idea of sticking a disc tab on the fork (due to not finding any fork that matches it’s spec and also liking the look of it). What would I likely be looking at cost wise either from a bigger framebuilder or hobbiest.
Having never ventured much into the world of discs I’m unsure wether post or direct mount would be best. Finish wise I would be happy to just clear coat over the affected areas leaving them raw.
