Thanks, those pedals are the exact color of the rims... but, yeah I know, BLB...

BLB or not, the main issue with platform pedals is lack of foot retention. The frame is Columbus MAX right? That frame deserves all the power your legs can deliver, and with clipless pedals you'd really fly - Look, Shimano, Time, Speedplay etc.
