Yeh I don't get the Twitter bashing,I get better and more current covid analysis on Twitter than anywhere else

It's also rife with misinformation though, and old usernumber up there is happy enough to share seemingly random twitter posters as a good source of information whilst also refusing to click on guardian links in case they catch center-leftness or something. I get the avoiding the sun links because of solidarity with Hillsborough victims, or the mail because it's basically just hate for and clicks (I disagree with them as right wing shit rags too) but avoiding the guardian seems odd, it's gone downhill of late and if you're not much for center left politics it might not be your first choice of media outlet, but it's generally regarded as accurate and honest reporting as far as newspapers go, I'm not a fan of the times but will generally read stuff if it's not paywalled as it's at least got a reputation of generally honest reporting.
