Old Mulberry Tree Quaker meeting House 594 Tottenham High Road.
Quakers have always been small in number (and seem to be dwindling now) but IMO punch above their weight in doing good things. This tag was a tiny homage to them.
Also connected to my first ever tag by Luke Howard, who as well as naming clouds was a Tottenham Quaker.

You don’t think of Quakers rampantly breeding somehow hence the small numbers.
Going back a few tags Bryant of Bryant&May was a Quaker and they were right bastards. -

A lady came out of Baldwins for a chat, I explained BTOB to her she didn’t seem to entirely get the point. She was going to look out for the tagger though.
My wife has fond memories of her grandfather taking her for a sarsaparilla at stall run by Baldwins at East Lane Market. -

You can still pop in for a glass of sarsaparilla which is lovely.

Carrot shaped, I presume
-
• #26510
Indeed, and might I tempt you with a sip of lighter fluid?
-
• #26511
The carrot reference is very oblique.

I struggled to find something vaguely interesting in the area on the hoof, and then to work out a reasonable clue was even worse. I think oat44 has it.
-
• #26513
I've got it because of oat's reference. Not venturing in to those badlands though.
-
• #26514
I got it from your clue, along with a Basement Jaxx earworm. But unlikely to make it out for a while.

I'm there.
I'd be there.
If only I was cycling.
Safe side of the river, despite what Will says. -

Nice tag. If it's still there tomorrow I might go for a ride.

Dang, Captain (44) Oats came down to my ends. If I'd known you were coming I'd have baked a cake and come to say hello.

Old, the portico in Ruskin Park.
New. In memory of 144 fruits.

Very good. Mine was a portico in Ruskin Park near to the site of Dane House (now demolished, pic) where Felix Mendelssohn once stayed and was inspired to write Spring Song. The piece was originally called 'Camberwell Green' but it only became famous after he changed it. Poor Camberwell.
https://www.londonpicturearchive.org.uk/view-item?i=89661&WINID=1635344904785It was also the site of Pink Floyd's first ever photoshoot (other pic)
I think the portico is the remains of what was number 170, while Dane House was number 168

Another clue: a shooting sparked a riot
-
• #26522
Ummm...should I do a new tag in an area where people want to go?
-
• #26523
You need to give more clues. People may have worked it out and not been able to go and get it but they might also not have worked it out. There's nothing to lose by giving more clues.
-
• #26524
I found the location from the clues, but just haven’t had a chance to get there yet!

OK, well more clueage anyway: it's next to a square named after people who were targeted by Theresa May's vans https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2013/oct/31/go-home-vans-11-leave-britain
Home of another old consumable I don’t know why but I always think of Laurel&Hardy drinking it although the tag is in Charlie Chaplains manor.
