Your dad sounds like almost every committee member of every rugby club I ever played for, the sort of men who would never appear unshaven at breakfast. They were always pretty decent and good for a round for the players, win or lose. I once heard one refer to the new members of their golf club as 'wideboys and spivs', hard to argue with this summary of the average golferist.

Hahahaha yes that is absolutely him! So much so that I'm not entirely sure you didn't meet him. It wasn't up in the North East was it?

What is the go-to Jag model for the long term Jag owner?
Taken from my sample size of one long term Jag owner, the current one is the one that was getting the piss taken a bit earlier in the thread (or maybe another thread)....the one that's styled like an SUV. He's getting on a bit and says it is easier to get into.

I thought you mean like old 80’s jag and treat it like a family heirloom

I went to the LFGSS golf bar instead. It got a bit rowdy at one point, I think everyone had a bit too much to drink.

Do they serve generous spirit measures?

Have you seen the prices of genuine Nazi flags?

I'm starting a collection of ex-wives
-
• #3287
I definitely can’t afford a collection of ex-wives…
-
• #3288
They're are lot more affordable when you collect ex-wives who weren't your own.

• #3289
Aren't they divorcées rather than ex-wives?
-
• #3290
.
-
• #3291
By definition, both.

This sounds like something that you might brag about in a golf club bar.
At the risk of running into the army of ex-husbands, who all are at the same golf club. -
• #3293
Or is that wife swapping?
-
• #3294
From different perspectives though. I have no ex-wives. I could have a divorcée, I imagine,if I put the effort in.
At the risk of being hoisted by my own petard, I suppose I could also have an ex-wife if I put in enough effort. Sounds like hard work though.

Keys in the fish bowl? All's fair in love, war and golf.

According to my husband I'm his ex-girlfriend

What’s your current wife’s perspective?

I am now rather sorry for playing with words and stirring this rather daft episode.
For the record, I do have an ex-wife and she remains my friend.

You have to feel sorry for the couple who drive Skodas getting drafted last, if it were me, I would pick the Aston or Jaguar keys first.

Does she know about the other ex-wives you’ve collected?
Genuine interest here.
