Refitted the Lytaloy headset.
Cleaned the cups, amazing condition and hardly any brineling under the old grease. @anidel had saved all the bearings (super-star) so quick clean up of those, new grease, and everything is good.Don't forget the headset will almost certainly need re-adjustment after a short distance. They 'settle'.
Headset adjustment is, I have found, super critical. Any looseness and the the bottom end will be ruined by pitting very rapidly - and this is nothing to do with the quality of the set. Don't go to the other extreme and have it too tight - that will also cause problems.
