Don't usually try to be condescending. But occasionally for humour.
The Italy (well the area we call Italy now) thing goes back many many centuries and the history of Italy both post WW1 and WW2 is not. If you look up Lega Lombarda/Lega Nord/lega Veneto you will see my comments are a reflection of what this political group is. Never mind wanted to leave eu this group want to leave Italy and remove those that are not from that region. Then they sort of stopped doing that but the party faithful stick to that.
