  • Are they in any way like Brannigans?

  • Oh. Honey and Mustard? WTF?!

  • Are those pomstix available in the UK? Always after a new brand of paprika flavouring.

  • @EB not as rustic as Brannigans used to be. The actual crisp has a slightly smooth almost processed texture to it, if that makes sense, but the flavour is very nice. I though it may have been similar to B's beef & mustard, but its pretty different. I still think their smoked ham & pickle was the best crisp ever. So far.....

  • Mackie's do a scotch bonnet flavour, but I've not yet tried them

  • Yeah there is one in their logo

  • ha, very good. they have loads of flavours it seems, including the rarely seen these days tomato flavour

  • Not crisps, but in the same snackategory.

    Fuck yes.

  • Not convinced

    They are very good.

Readily available at Gretna Green southbound service station.

  • Also, since I'm here:

Walkers fish and chip flavoured are an abomination.

  • I'm into Tesco Finest Sea Salt and Chardonnay (?!) Vinegar at the moment. Reassuringly surface of roof of mouth removing

  • My holy grail of a decent vegan beef-flavoured crisp has been reached by Tesco Beef & Horseradish.

  • Ooh not tried, are they in the Finest range?

  • Can't remember, but think it was 99p a pack, so probably not. The more expensive ones usually have powdered beef or the like.

  • Finest are £1 in my Tesco so possibly

  • Good to know, I was a toss-up between them and Madras. I'll probably end up buying them still next week 🤦‍♂️

  • Is that the one that has a cheese counter and a farm shop?

  • Have these been in here? God tier level.

  • Ah yes @Tenderloin knows where it’s at.

  • Annnd I just ordered 4 bags of those from Amazon. They are dead good though.

  • I had the Jamon Iberico ones today. Great texture and crunch but disliked the flavour. Will try the truffle.

  • I think I’ve had a bag in my cupboard ever since (as in always have them rather than 1 single 4 year old bag!)

  • These have just appeared on the shelves, almost but not quite Rib'n'saucy NikNaks... Nom!

A very welcome alternative, 95% sure I'll get reflux tonight...

  • I'd try them but nothing beats the OG Twisties.
