That's really nice, The benotto tape is fun and overall a very decent period-correct build - miles more so than mine!!

That's exquisite! What's the build plan?

This is my zippy upright. Well, it's as zippy as this old engine can drive anyway.

It's an Orbit gold medal frame (80s tourer) so it started life with drop bars. The stem is just the the one it came with.

That looks like a brilliant build. I love the chain guard, and how it matches the rack and mudguards.

I thought it was a Dura Ace track hub at first glance. I zoomed in with my eyebrows raised and then realised it's a dynamo.

Thank you. It's quite an old project, 2014 I think. I posted it as an example of an old-tourer-turned-upright for @Ndeipi.

I have started riding it as my main bike again recently though. It no longer has the nurses lock. That was a hangover from Dutch bikes where it makes a bit more sense. Took an embarrassing amount of time to realise I can do exactly the same thing with a small d lock through the spokes but a d lock has the option to lock it to a thing as well. Doh.

Yes the light is a cyo iq. It looks a bit more minimal because the black rear cover fell off. Not an intentional design choice!

I like those Dutch locks. Means I can carry one lock for front wheel and frame and not worry about the rear wheel :).

I mean yeah they’re ugly but pretty functional imo!

just finished this orlowski, I got it dirt cheap because one bb thread is about 50% knackered, but so far it didn't cause any problems. barely fits worn 23c tyres. 1 " ahead.

New Maxxis tires, brake pads and bottom bracket on my city bike. Unfortunately someone tried to cut the lock the other day, so decided to ‘thief proof’ it a little, found a little hard plastic ball off a pin so glued that into the seatpost and stem, pretty happy as it’s kinda color matching.

There’s no room to fit full mudguards because of the brake boosters so I’ve been using sks clip on mtb guards if it’s pouring. Takes a min to clip em on and off.
