We stayed here in the summer. http://www.hoteleurope-savoie.com
Easy, you just ride down the mountain to the hotel.
I shouted 'Bradley' at the to of my voice when I passed the road going up to La Toussuire coming down the Croix de Fer.
Would think it is booked out so like everything in town. But I think there are very good camping facilities geared to cyclists. You better call now. http://www.saintjeandemaurienne.com/uk/il4-office_p58-tourist-office.aspx
In Albertville this hotel was nice. http://costaroche.blogspot.co.uk
Not too far to ride to the start and home after the race ;-)

Anyone doing this in 2022, and does anyone know the best way to get a bib since they are sold out?
The website is trying to sell hotel package deals which is like to avoid and the charity option links just seem to point you to the charity home pages.
Anyone else signed up for this? It'll be my first Étape and I'm super psyched (and slightly terrified!).
I just booked the place on a whim - any tips for accommodation? What's the easiest way of getting back down to the start, from the summit finish?
