Finally managed to buy our own home this year and the fit out will be starting in earnest soon (have a wedding to get over us next week and then all focus will be on apartment) so I'll be in this thread a bunch more...
I've been designing some bedroom furniture I'm planning to get fabricated by a CNC company and then I'll just assemble it myself but the concept was to raise the floors in the bedrooms to allow for storage compartments in the floors and minimise the amount of space taken up by wardrobes and the like to make the rooms feel as big as possible...
Here's one of the earlier drafts but it will be changing a small bit before production... I've seen sense and I'm going to have the framework for the platform and dividing the hatches CNCd from sheets so the lattice frame will be done away with and I want to incorporate some LED strip lighting at the underside of the bed and possibly the lockers too (maybe)...
