The funniest thing about this thread is the contrast between LFGSS Golf Club talk and my dad, who is old school golf clubist/rugby unionist with the matching dark blue jag and politics.
For the golfing style mavens: brokendaddy gets his clothes from M&S, won't wear jeans at all ("workwear!") and the nearest he gets to a visible brand is a jumper with his club's crest on ("Why would I pay to advertise a designer? They should pay me!")
Can’t tell where the aspirational golf club ends and generational golf club begins, but there’s usually an inverse relationship between clothing quality and flashiness. (Haute couture is obviously something else)
