I quite like those, but think the novelty of bubble would wear out quickly.

Still haven't fathomed how to get the bracelet off.

Do you mean try it on a Perlon? Not a bad idea - problem is the Faux erica is on is so compfortable!

They are nice, but I find the typeface is slightly off in a way I can't quite express...
-
• #58533
Its easily my most worn watch, even at that price its a great deal - If I didnt own one already I would be buying one!

Ah, I thought you meant on the Sinn UX posted earlier, since you said 'their press photo'
Anyway I think the Sinn isn't supposed to have the air bubble. Super cool watch anyway.

I do enjoy a dive watches with the crown at 4.

Make sense! You’re probably right the Sinn shouldn’t have a bubble.
-
• #58537
Probably not a bad idea to send it back

It's either got to have an air bubble or a volume compensator of some sort. Water expands as temperature increases and it's not compressible so it will just bust its way out of the watch without some kind of volume compensator.

is it water?
I thought they used oil?(again, I might just be thinking of u-Boat, and modded g shocks)
-
• #58540
Huh yeah. Not sure why I assumed it was water. It probably isn't though is it?! Oil is more stable with temperature, depending on what's added to it, but it would still be difficult to 'fill' it without some slack.

Suppose all the oil-filling mods for cheap Casios are relevant to this

• #58542
My sentiments too, great value.

Aka “90s-accurate” :-D
It is quirky, it was then and is now, but I like it more without the date window that the original mechanical one had.
The full lume dial is a really good version of a full lume field watch but the weathered black is my fave by far.

I like that Citizen blue promaster.

Thanks for the comments, I am actually shocked at how well it wears and how much I like it...
The bubble... it was serviced by Sinn in 2017 and had the bubble since. Again, it disappears when its warm. Apparently, the previous owner was in touch with Sinn and they said it's nothing to worry about and actually quite common - caused by a tiny air pocket left when re-filling the watch with oil after the service. It doesn't bother me at all and the next service is due in 2025, so... I'll just wear it for now.

I've always been tempted by a UX. I just love the legibility.
What's the second hand wobble like for you? I personally quite like it!
-
• #58550
To be fair, I don't notice it on this one, maybe because of the oil? I've seen it on other Sinn watches, but this one seems like it's just ticking. Not quite Grand Seiko dead on tick, but yeah, pretty solid, no wobble.
I was thinking that, even part of their press photo;
