I just found the source of noise on my metal mudguards. The front stays are very close to the disc brake mount and ever bump made them vibrate slightly and make an annoying metallic noise.

It looks like a longer mudguard clip would solve the problem, if the stay cannot be bent into shape.

I haven't seen any longer ones but I could put a longer plastic spacer under the screw, for now heat shrink on the stay will have to do.
