Contents all being auctioned off? Was probably an old hoarder who passed away.
The house has some lovely period features. I reckon the original Mona Lisa is worth asking to stay with the house.

Definitely auction. Looks like a retired antiques dealer/hoarder.

I'm actually tempted to go and view that.
It could be spectacular when done.

3 door bells is a new one!

Yeah - that road is quite nice.
I never know what those weird little infills are between each house?

One for the staff
One for deliveries
One for booty calls -

But is it a trap for big rats or a big trap for normal rats?
-
• #48910
That door frame (it's probably got a proper name) in pics 17 and 19...
-
• #48911
Definitely one big rat. The other question is, who is the sign for?
-
• #48912
More likely
One for the mental health crisis team
One for the carer
One for the fire officer who regularly visits to tell him his house is going to burn down if he drops his fag Ash in the wrong place -

One for big rats

Our buyer has asked us to service the boiler before we complete. He's taking the piss a bit isn't he? Boiler brand new last year btw.
FWIW, ask the person who fitted the boiler last year and you might get the first year's service at a reduced rate. we're getting ours done for £45.

Amazing. Depending on the amount of work and the size of the rat could be a lovely house.
I love that turquoise sink and lav -

Portico?

Well in an unexpected twist of fate looks like I'm gonna be moving to aldersbrook. The agent selling a house we put a bid on a few weeks back called up and said the sale has fallen through, would I like a second chance to buy? She said it was under offer at 880 after the initial viewing and would I like to increase my offer to match it?
I obviously said no but said I could top it up a bit, so I added another 5k to my previous offer. that was apparently enough to secure it and they accepted.
It's all so fucking murky and it's absolutely ridiculous throwing these figures around for a terraced house. But my wife is keen for our kids to go to the local school.

Hah, we offer £2,500 over because we genuinely can’t afford to match what the other offered (they offer £10,000 more for a leasehold ground floor 2 bed flat that’s to be quite honest, a bit shit).
Fortunately that fell through and we got it.

No herongate Road. It needs a bit of work.

herongate Road
The one that was on with Durden and Hunt? I thought it looked like it had good potential.
-
• #48924
Yeh that is it. I think with a nice ground floor extension, nothing mad, and a loft and a spruce up it should be nice . I can just about afford to do the work for what I've paid for it.
-
• #48925
Nice one - congratulations
I mean you'd need to service it to keep the warranty, depends if its in the year yet and pass the buck onto him if he wants to keep it.
