I've had a Craft breathable/waterproof for 11 years now that's still waterproof. It has vents to let the air through under rainproof flaps. I had to have a new zip fitted about 3 years ago by a local tailor, and the wrist elastic has gone, but it still keeps the rain out.

Gore Shakedry. Expensive but it works.

I've had good results from the Morvelo ones. Fabric feels a bit tougher than others.
I've an expensive goretex packs-down-to-a-tennis-ball-size-jacket for special wet days. I've an Endura summat that leaks almost immediately. I'd like the best solution to wet winter weather.....any thoughts? Thanks. Mel.
