  • Easier week for me as I want to get a benchmark of how fit I am this week so plan to do a 5k “race” with a couple of mates, far in watch reckons I’m around 19:45 kind of shape, which would put me on par with where I was this time last year, still a bit heavier than I was at this point like for like.

    In my head a desire to run sub 2:50 is forming, which I think is achievable but definitely a stretch, as it’s a ~6 minute improvement! The appeal is that it requires running at 40 minute 10k pace for 4 and a bit of the buggers, which in my head is significant, and also very easy to see if you’re on track or not!
