Don’t like the sound of that one, probably a lemon with a shady seller
-
• #67754
Wait is it actually "Of this manor"?

• #67755
Belongs (belonged?) to @NurseHolliday

• #67756
It’s my old, and NH’s current, car.
-
• #67757
And yes, I do keep checking on how it’s doing in the auction. It’s a stupendous bargain currently
-
• #67758
It is.
Annoyingly I currently have a company car, in a years time I am handing it back and planning to get a "fun" estate car, this ticks all the boxes and is well under budget.

See if the por15 kit that frosts sell can be used.
-
• #67760
Ordered some kit from Blue steel(?) which supposedly can handle diesel, fifteen quid. I think you'd need a fork lift to get the tank out so it better work

Beauty and the beast … brave 911 colour choice .. but it just works

Yeah as a couple have said already, it's mine, and previously was Neil's.
Life has been a bit up and down recently and I've not really been able to be on the forum very much so I apologise to anyone who previously said they were interested in owning it after me and to anyone I promised to contact before I sold it.
I chose to put it on CC not purely out of a desire to get the most money. It's normally the forum thing to pass on a favour when a fellow forumer has done you a favour. I just really wanted to see what the CC experience was like and what the car's potential was.
Also, the bill for the 2.4 block was quite large and I was unemployed so I'd really like to claw some money back.

Also remember how much trouble Neil had with flakey buyers last time? I was not keen to have a repeat of that.

Don’t think anyone can blame you there tbh. Nice to pass it on when you can - but if you need the cash I think it’d be a bit odd to honour forum dibs over personal financial security.

100%. I would love to see the car make 20k+ on CC.
-
• #67767
I don't think there's any risk of that.
-
• #67768
True, but a man can dream.
-
• #67769
would love to bump this dude. hope it gets last minute flurry
-
• #67770
I guess the market decided. Oh well.
-
• #67771
Bought by a dealer who I assume is going to do a shit repaint and sell for triple the money.
-
• #67772
Ah man that’s tough, such a great car.

Crayon with Bordeaux leather will be all the rage one day
-
• #67774
Wow thought it would go for more. Sorry to see.
There was a Japanese import, in yellow, that did not have the spec nor modifications that yours had up for 15k.

I'm going to bet nothing and just put a few grand on the price. Seems the norm.
Has anyone repaired a plastic diesel tank before? Exhaust rotted off a machine and burnt a few small holes in the fuel tank.
(not a car, won't be going anywhere near the road)
