True dat!
I was arguing for the compatibility with existing bikes and the versatility. The whole crankset is too expensive in my opinion. -

OEM dynamos are hens teeth in the US.
Out of the 30+ dynamo hubs we’ve sold in the last 5 years, two have been Shimano (I just checked how many we sold). For the longest time we couldn’t even get any of the nicers Shimano hubs unless we ordered from shops in Europe.
I know we are an outlier on the global scale, but here at least most commuters use usb rechargeable lights, and the vast majority of dynamo sales end up on touring bikes.

I don't believe that fits them well AT ALL

Strange bikes, they have the same reach on their drop bar bikes like on the flat bar Mtb. With the longer stem and drop bars your hands are probably 15cm further out if you are on the hoods.
But 90mm BB drop is pretty epic.

Fancy jockey wheels on a grountain bike are not ATB approved

Rancid

Hideous. I seen a photo of this bike from another angle and it seems there’s no getting around the fact that the way the cables enter the stem is just ugly. This photo and the other that I seen are taken at angles that disguise it.

This! I winced at the hose coming out the bottom of the steerer. 👀
@BareNecessities are they mountain bike approved? Asking for a friend…

Your friend has XTR as a dangly breakable component, so I'm afraid it's already too late for them ;-)
-
• #21747
He says the other option he has is a XT Di2 derailleur. He considers this to be the lesser cost to smash option. 🤷🏻♂️

XTR is the only thing I'll ride on London's Famous London bike paths.

1x alu, dropper post, GRX 11speed, hydraulic with all the mounts.
... With weird, eccentric bolt pattern. That'll be $100 for a single replacement chainring, thanks!
