I tried. They never stopped. I've emailed them about it and got nothing. If it ends up like another BT situation and I go and track down every senior member of staff and CC them into an ICO threat email then anyway, this is a side issue.
Personally, I don't like sponsorship, I like the idea of being able to slag off everyone equally. :) But I have a decent paying job that allows me to do that. If you're comfortable money-wise, is a sponsorship deal really worth it?
(I did have a Torq deal but I was already using their stuff and continue to use their stuff after the deal)

It's a difficult decision as I'm fairly similar to you in the respect of liking to self support, the issue is that I'm about to exchange for a house so any extra help would be appreciated. I can see where my disposable income will go next year and it won't be a new groupset and wheels for my R3. I've been approached by clothing brands etc previously and I turned them down because "I'm not an influencer, I'm just a guy who rides his bike a lot", they were things that I haven't used or know about so it wouldn't benefit me at all.
'Also, it's late in the game. You don't want them taking a bunch of credit when they're only getting on board late Oct...'
This is something I need to discuss with them, as it's my challenge. If they push and it helps build my charity sponsorship then that would be amazing but if they start saying look what we're doing etc etc then it's a no from me.
2/3 reel posts a year, 4 stories and a q&a post. Yes i do like them, it's just expensive compared to making my own stuff (remember the gels in the earlier posts)
Haha I unsubscribed to those a while ago
