Typing XE is presumably why I couldn't find it :) just copy and pasted what the art director wrote (which is consistent with my experience with art directors). Thank you.

There’s also an XS, which is just as easy a typo from the director as XR would be

Presume no way to tell from a photo of the front?

Doesn’t look like either, since neither XR or XS had a button on the front.
Maybe it’s the 3rd option for a typo - iPhone SE, which does look right and has the button on the front
He picked a really helpful typo 😬

I’m sure the new MacBook will get the steeze points sat surfing LFGSS and pitching to become an influencer for some up and coming brand targeting millennials whilst sat in the latest go-to cafe (that does single origin anaerobic process wush wush on batch brew as well as lab grown wagu/tofu finger food)

I just bought 8 more GPU cores than I need... crazy prices but dealing with a MBA with the worst cooling for the past year, I don't really care at this point.
My most expensive computing purchase so far, including Pentiums and 486s.

Got to wait until they become eligible for an Amex/avios purchase in the Apple store but I’ll be ordering a Max/2tb/64gb/16”, should help avoid the need to go and make a cup of tea while working on 20gb PSD’s which is happening far too frequently with my 2016 MBP.
-
• #18563
When will this be do you think?
Just ordered max with 64gb and 2tb on my Amex.
6-8 weeks until delivery. -

Yoiks! That’s a big laptop.
Just ordered the 16inch Pro.For a moment I thought it was only £200 more for the Max which is a no brainier but obviously you have to double the ram at £400 extra too which I don’t need at all.

Can’t remember exactly but me and the Mrs actively chase points/companion vouchers so we can travel in business long haul and I use the BA/Amex apps to see when they are doing 5-7 points per £ instead of the usual 3 and in the terms and conditions they list the products not eligible which is usually the latest iPhones and macs it could be 2-3 months wait which I’m happy to do as we want to go to NZ in 2 years time (we are going to japan later next year and it’s cost us £550 each to fly business out/premium back, if it wasn’t for points chasing I would be ordering now)

Ah cool, I def don't want to wait for longer than I have to. My 2016 (first gen) touchbar is not keeping up with work these days. Amazed it has lasted 5 years tbh.
I'll have to tap you up for BA tips. I got the card for the same reason but not had a chance to use any avios or the companion voucher yet.

It’s confusing at first but I found the headforpoints/thepointsguy websites help explain it all, I only started doing if after being flown business to Singapore with work and the chap I went with got me up to speed.
That and being a bony arsed fidget who can’t deal with long flights.
Me and the Mrs have never owned a car and don’t have sprog so that’s how we justify ruining the planet. (Sorry)
If your voucher was earned before September or you hold a premium card then do use it if you can, they changed the rules so the free card only gets you economy travel which kind of defeats the object of the whole thing. -

Off topics but ain’t Avios now BA miles or something? I have loads of points and I don’t know what to do with them! 😅
-

You can buy wine but it’s not the best value per point
Unless you are an alcoholic who’s afraid of flying! -

I used to have an Asia miles account, similar thing and when I closed it I cashed in £25 Tesco and £30 John Lewis vouchers, which was quite nice.
I now almost exclusively use my HSBC card because every £500 spent = £5 amazon voucher, which is easily done actually! 😁

You can convert Avios to Nectar points (and vice versa) so if you really don't know what to do with them then you can just use them to buy groceries at Sainsbury's.
The companion flights just don't really work for us, occasionally I'll use the Avios for a rental car if we're going on holiday but otherwise they just build up and up without being spent.

Proper “one more thing” moment yesterday when the M1 Max was presented. Was hoping for a mini or an iMac but guess I have to wait a bit longer. Doubt it’ll be a full year though.

Oh OK. Didn’t know that. Thanks.
How much?
