Get something made by primaloft or polartec.
I just googled and saw these. Not tired but they're polatrec streach fleece. I know sandling and have some of their stuff.

A question I've been desperately trying to answer myself. I have a pare by Prendas that are passable and I've just bought the Albion winter socks but have yet to actually try them out. Also saw these from gore the other day but £40 is a ludicrous amount to spend on socks
