Crocketts nice imo

OK I wouldn't say no to a Ticket S.
But the rest put the Eric in generic or are ugly AF

Working for trek. I hear this an alarming amount. It worries me

Has the Boone still only got clearance for 33mm tyres or have they increased it yet?
-
• #8907
More. Its also T47 so a way more attractive option than the old bike.
I asked US racer for some clearance pics (niche I know) and he very kindly sent me these.

40mm gravel tyre will fit in there no problem!

Fantastic, thanks for that.
Looks like the Boone is back on the next frame list. -

Another warm weekend meant dropping my bottle halfway round yesterday's Western League rnd3 was a mistake.
Fast course. Surprised myself with 4th senior and not too far off the podium. Not bad for a gravel bike
good course that. some of the corners getting a bit squirrely by the end, but it's about time for some proper wet conditions now: 6 races and no bike cleaning at all!

Come back to London. I have done 5 races this year inc Summer CX and only one has been dry. FML

Something's up when you've done six races split between the south-west and the north and there's no need for a pressure washer.
Thoughts on the American World Cups? The racing has been relatively interesting and close, I just find the courses lack any real features of the bigger decisive European world cups, and find myself switching off.

I disagree. I found the tracks interesting, particularly Fayetteville.
They are wider and less technically dense, so racing is different and generally faster. All the Women's races were good imo.
I'm praying for snow for the Worlds.

If the "in field" sections of the course aren't muddy bog, does it count as wet?
I enjoyed the muddy bog race (Fayetteville), but in general I'd agree, maybe not enough features to make things truly interesting.

"they are a great watch on turbo" - Amey 2021
But also lack of MVDP and Wout has made it more interesting IMO. Loved to see Americans destroyed on the home turf, just Belgians and van der haar.

Yeah. I've always like that course. It's basically a grass crit. As much as I say I like 'technical' courses, I've always had better results on the flat fast ones. I'm more of a diesel I guess.
I felt like my tyres were perfect for once. Michelin Jet Powers at around 30 psi

Also. How have you done 6 races already? Nationals too?
-
• #8918
Actually 8 races.
Few Nationals, singlespeed race at the first Central league of the season as well as the seniors, and racing every weekend from the 5th September.

Crikey. Singlespeed too. Nutter.
Can I assume you were the winner at Netham?

I'm going to be up in Bolton every other week for the next month or so does anyone know of any Wednesday night training groups nearby?
-
• #8922
Anyone in here got any leads on a CX frameset or bike for sale? 58cm ideally.

Had no legs today. Arrived late with no time to warm up. Slow from the start, good in the corners. Mediocrity personified

Cyclocross buy and sell on Facebook has a few at the moment I think..

Slow from the start, good in the corners
Can relate
The Boone looks good. Would buy. It's the only Trek I like.
