  • It's crazy how quickly you loose condition.

    Its all to easy to lose heart and give up when you have a setback too.

    When I did my ACL and meniscus I should have been able to get back to good fitness within a year but instead I lost the various psychological battles and ended up putting on 20KG of lard. Ended up being two years before I started to get my shit together. Four years later, i'm finally back to feeling good and enjoying most sessions.

    MCL and 15kg, but I'm in the same place right now.

  • Keep going and don't over do it. One big thing for me was really watching what I ate. I changed my diet totaly to keep weight off, I went totaly vegan while I was recovering which I have kept up at about 80/90%.
    I understand thats not for everyone but being aware of what your putting in your body helps a bit.

    Good luck don't get to down it does get better you juat have to keep chipping away.
