Lovely bike 😁 here's mine in its current setup. And as @Bethelcat says decals are readily available in all styles and as the anodized ones clean up so well any black version could be made to look matchy. I got my replacement decals from wanit.co.uk. My 2000 rex was a satin dark grey/black anodized and could scratch or get shiny spots on it but My track jet is hard anodized so harder wearing. It was in nice condition but the decals had started to peel but £25 on decals and a deep clean and polish and mine came up like new.

Going to be listing this to part fund my new spendy build. I thought I'd put it here for a bit first incase someone's keen. £800 Without a front wheel though. Perfect condition i spent a lot of time and money getting this just right but I've got a Colnago master x light calling. Does not come with a front wheel.

I'm pretty sure they're 2cm too short for you

Hi @Retro_bastard - can you let me know what size the frame is and top tube c to c measurement?
Many thanks
-
• #234
Top tube is 55cm c2c and seat tube 54cm c2c. I see this would make a pair. Nice 😁

i need 22cm
-
• #236
Yeah it's 20cm i think i managed to pick this up after you originally passed on it based on that.

Dibs frame if you split please.
-
• #238
No plans to split at the moment as I'm about to start stripping down another bike. If it came to splits. I'd be looking for £300 frame and Chris King and £180 for the fork. That is £25 more than i paid for the frame on here but I have restored the anodized paint (not re-anodized) which took ages and i had to buy a kit then i replaced all the old decals so looks like new now.

Bit cash strapped atm, so I'm thinking of moving on my ongoing Principia Tri 28 project. To be honest, I'm probably veering towards splitting it, but I thought I'd see if there was any interest in the whole build here first. Not really sure what it's worth, but it owes me near enough 700 quid, and ideally I'd like to get a fair chunk of that back. Cheers

My trusty 700 LTD, rare as hen's teeth I would imagine. True these frames are simply superb and give a comfortable but stiff ride. She's still my go-to bike when the weather is dry; original Ultegra groupset has never skipped a beat.
