  • Almost - no holes in the front face of the fork or the underside. Worst comes to worst I can drill and epoxy a threaded insert exactly where I want it, but that’s definitely a bodge of last resort.

    I think the Strada on this mount will be too much strain for even a metal guard, hence the Isen mount.

  • Canyon mounts light on the mudguard but those are the stiff alu profile ones that can work as a rack too. You would need a brace under the mudguard like they have on some racks.

  • I've run an edelux on PDW guards for a few years and would say that a strada would probably be a bad idea. I do get a tiny amount of bounce from the edelux.

    If you're still keen to mount here a good option would to be to use an additional stay to support the front of the mudguard near where the light is mounted. This way there is less cantilevered diving board effect.
