Decent size. Mine was originally 3.4 x 2.6 I think and we split that into two rooms with ease.
Gimme a sec... -

that looks like a finger trap for the sprogs :(
-
• #1654
Yep exactly - as @chrisbmx116 says opening door onto shower is a it awks + with kids could be smashy smashy
-
• #1655
the door opens the other way - away from the glass
less of a safety concern but the pocket door would open up that wall quite nicely...
-
• #1656
Ah sorry my bad. Worth a discussion as I think it would mean you could have a nice full length mirror etc there

Possibly a better layout. More distinct wet and dry areas.

Haven’t had a pie from Brisbane road in a while but had one from Robins & Son last weekend. Proper grub

Cool. Weird that you can’t share saved items on IG but can now make these collections shareable.

I ended up needing to move several of these rolls yesterday so they wouldn’t get nicked. I hurt all over today.

You’ve made the incorrect choice of bevelled subway tiles.

Followed.

• #1667
Definitely keen on unbevelled. Not all those tiles have bevels!

Does anyone have a view on this en suite shower room design? The shower cubicle has a 'hinged return' shower door which is basically a narrow door that swings inward rather than outwards - I'm not sure of the benefits of this vs a decent sliding door or just a fixed 'walk-in' enclosure...

I had one of those things - they do stop some spray onto the floor but also get dirty etc - I wouldn’t spec one again personally and just have a mat on the floor when showering (especially as you have a towel rail).
I think built in shower shelves are a great idea - otherwise storing shower bottles is a pita.
Boiler in the top LH? Maybe build it in and turn into a corner storage? Or build out that whole wall so you have a shelf, hidden toilet cistern etc think @chrisbmx116 did something like that
-

I’d also vote for building out the wall and concealing everything in it. So much recessed storage possibility.
-
• #1671
I think if you’re going for a bolder terrazzo like that, then a more subtle wall tile maybe

Christ how much is lead these days? Our roofer left a load at ours, luckily inside, with a view to finishing the job when the velux arrives.

A fortune like all other metals

think we're going for this one now
https://boutiquestone.co.uk/product/ravello-terrazzo
paired with a flat white metro tile. Whatever is left untiled will be painted in a shade we'll choose once the tiling is all done

Don’t go terrazzo effect, it never quite looks right.
Real terrazzo or something else.
or if no pocket door, bifolds like this will give more space
