• Does anyone have a view on this en suite shower room design? The shower cubicle has a 'hinged return' shower door which is basically a narrow door that swings inward rather than outwards - I'm not sure of the benefits of this vs a decent sliding door or just a fixed 'walk-in' enclosure...

  • I had one of those things - they do stop some spray onto the floor but also get dirty etc - I wouldn’t spec one again personally and just have a mat on the floor when showering (especially as you have a towel rail).

I think built in shower shelves are a great idea - otherwise storing shower bottles is a pita.

Boiler in the top LH? Maybe build it in and turn into a corner storage? Or build out that whole wall so you have a shelf, hidden toilet cistern etc think @chrisbmx116 did something like that

  • I’d also vote for building out the wall and concealing everything in it. So much recessed storage possibility.

  • Yeah I'm not sold on the hinged return thing.

Built in shower sleeves would mean building out so we'd lose 100mm of space in the shower, not keen on that.

Top left is a corner cupboard, wanted something discreet - we don't need much storage in the room. We're removing the crappy old mirror cabinet to replace with a simple mirror & shelf.
