I had one of those things - they do stop some spray onto the floor but also get dirty etc - I wouldn’t spec one again personally and just have a mat on the floor when showering (especially as you have a towel rail).
I think built in shower shelves are a great idea - otherwise storing shower bottles is a pita.
Boiler in the top LH? Maybe build it in and turn into a corner storage? Or build out that whole wall so you have a shelf, hidden toilet cistern etc think @chrisbmx116 did something like that

Dunno about everyone else, but I can't help but feeling that having the toilet the thing you see if the door is left open is quite the right way to do it.

Does anyone have a view on this en suite shower room design? The shower cubicle has a 'hinged return' shower door which is basically a narrow door that swings inward rather than outwards - I'm not sure of the benefits of this vs a decent sliding door or just a fixed 'walk-in' enclosure...
