I'm wondering whether doing the hose clamping nut up to the specified torque (4Nm) is insufficient and I should give it a little bit more tight.
4Nm is practically nothing, 6-8Nm would be absolutely fine. I admit I don’t bother using a torque wrench when tightening the hose nut on my brakes.
