Did a 30 mile ride on the tallboy today. Nothing radical, a mixture of bridleways, single track, and some rollers. It has few sections that I usually walk up/down when I'm on Ripley. Managed to ride them all today. Even got some air on the rollers on Banstead. The bike is great.
But the effective seat tube angle puts me in a position where it aggravates my knee injury, which I thought was fully healed. So I'll be selling it and going back to Ripley and neck pain.
Frame with both stock and cascade link are now for grabs if any one is interested. Keeping the shock as it's the right size for my other bike.
Give that I know f all about suspension and even less about setting it up it's great. Better than both the pike and 34 I have. It doesn't flex when I do sick curb drops.
