Keep in mind that modern enduro is practically what DH was a decade or so ago, ever gnarlier bikes make getting gnarly easy enough to warrant a full face for a lot of stuff and if you go hard you can do a lot of damage to yourself on otherwise light enough trails if you come down hard in a rock garden or into a tree...
You could consider something like a Bell Super 3R or Super Air R with removable chinbar although I've got a Full 9 for the heavy stuff and wouldn't like anything lighter... I have a Super 3 for trail duty too which is excellent!
Am I being an idiot wanting a lightweight well vented trail helmet eg Troy Lee Stage or Smith Mainline. I want to start learning to jump, will never be doing full downhill stupidity but am also old enough to have a vague instinct toward self preservation.
