Dammit

Trek Fuel is a beefed up XC bike, is my understanding - so in that strange part of the Venn that people have decided to call Down Country, which I think means you have to have a dangle-mug and a plaid shirt.

I think that’s exactly what I want so yeh, my logic was right. Keep the scale hardtail for easy stuff and gravelly type rides, use the fuel for into the peaks, long marathons where I don’t know the terrain and riding with people who have more adventurous bikes so I’m not constantly nearly crashing!
