Quick question for people on here, our house already has an extension built (Just under 3m, so PD) but when they did it it was done quite cheaply, they left the old external wall (Just removing door and window) and the ceiling is quite low.
We'd like to knock down the external wall to open up the space (replacing with steel frame) and re-do the roof of the extension/new external wall for more glass etc ... and while we're at it redo the downstairs bathroom.
For something like this would you say it's better going down the architect route or all round builder?
