So, I don't know how much this interests boxing fans but I'm seeing Anderson Silva wants Mayweather.

I don’t really know how you judge if a heavyweight is overly muscled?
Especially when barely any of them really take care of themselves.

I’d be interested if anyone knows much on the recruitment of energy for boxers. Perhaps being lean is more problematic than muscular.

I'm no fan of watching people smack each other in the face or of people with horrible views about others, but I am a fan of stuff like this:

My girlfriend is completely bemused at for e.g. me telling the toaster that "I'm going to smash your fucking face in, you prick" and then laughing, having seen that clip on Twitter yesterday.

A local pub has tickets for a fiver. I'm drinking already. What sort of time is it expected to start? Pub reckons 3am, other sources reckon 4am. One extra hour in bed would be welcome but I don't want to miss it!

Slight correction: he isn't a boxer at all, but that right hand will remain lethal unless Fury can brutalise him like last time. Gaining weight last time proved to be an own goal, merely making him even more ungainly and easy to hit. I'm damned if I can see how coming in heavier still will help.

It’s all kicking off about the gloves, Fury has baited Wilder into using the same horsehair gloves that he uses. Wilder is likely to smash up his hand or wrist using them. Seems like a completely bonkers choice and playing right in to Fury’s hands.

On the flip side, I hope Fury hasn’t got complacent or gets cocky in the ring and then gets sparked.

I was falling asleep. I don’t think there is a rematch clause Wilders manager had mentioned it’s probably last time we see them. Might all depend how the others line up mind.
