  • We'll have to wait and see, but I don't imagine they plan to refund their dealers for more than the wholesale cost of each bike, whereas customers will be rightfully expecting full retail refunds.

    Say Fully-Charged sold 50 P70, just Touring models stock with no upgrades or accessories, that's over $165k USD in refunds coming out of the shop's pocket; possibly all at once.

  • Doubt in the uk there are those kinds of margins (40% gross? ), if there are I think I'll be starting an account with them immediately!
    If they are able to refund full retail to dealer then its likely these funds are coming from an insurance policy the mftr has. And not from goodwill.
    Lived through various spesh /globe recalls over the years and seen it nearly sink two very large independents, and then take years to rebuild the coffers afterwards.
