Yeah, that's annoying. The standard enamel dial Model 1 (not the fumé ones) were £1440 (£1200 + VAT) but I wouldn't be surprised if the prices go up a little when they come back. Can't remember how much the fumé ones were.

Still loving this. But the pressure for the new moon watch grows steadily.

Cheers. A bit more expensive than I was thinking. I was expecting around a grand for some reason.

The metal dialled ones from Windup are less, $1250 + tax, works out approx £1100.
Bear in mind it's an ETA 2824-2 (not Sellita or Miyota) modified to remove the date, individually regulated, with a 5 year warranty and a really nice 2-watch leather case included. I think the price is fair and obviously the vitreous (aka grand feu) enamel dial adds a lot of the cost. No-one else is doing something similar for less than multiple thousands of pounds, eg:

(that has a Sellita in it)

First post in while, strong 1970’s history teacher vibe including elbow patches.

And another SPB. On a moody ISOFrane. Very dark today in Los Angeles, unfortunately.

The wardrobe maybe, the watch is pure 1970s Tokyo banker! So crisp.

Same old same old, it felt so much smaller after the Seiko 7548 (SKX predecessor).

One of my all time favourite watches. I’ll need to get it serviced at some point soon…

To be honest I think I was basing the expected price on most of the microbrands being about a grand rather than specific to the watch.
nice, I could do with giving my 1989' Airking a service at somepoint maybe early next year. Rolex direct quoted £500 for a service, extra for any parts.
