I know I’m on my own here but I’m not really a fan of the reverso case shape. Beautifully made (and some of the special editions have incredibly impressive decorations) but just too stretched out and civilised for my tastes. I don’t think it helps that the advent of fitness trackers means they now look a bit like a posh Fitbit ;)

Now that’s a case shape I dig!

Mishmash of this IWC dress watch and wearing hiking gear.
This Casio would appear to be a better match:

GMT function is slightly redundant as we’re on the same longitude as the U.K.

Not necessarily, if there’s someone who you talk to regularly from another times zones, it’s very helpful to know.
I usually check my phone clock before texting my friend in Canada

I did bite - job is done and very happy with it 👍🏻
Weirdly they are know locally for being wildly expensive… when I collected the Tudor I handed them all my watches for quotes, Rolex would be £700 (service plus new crown and crown tube) tissot (1970s) - Unknown cost as they would have to send it to tissot for the work and a JLC master quartz that they said they wouldn’t touch but would charge £50 to change the battery… ah well… -

AnOrdain selected as finalists in the GPHG challenge category, which is quite an achievement for a "microbrand":

They've also said there will be a batch drop soon if anyone was waiting for a restock.

Very nice, faded bezel but hardly a mark on it.

How much do they cost? Because they're always out of stock they never have a price.
