Apparently r&m are going to issue full refunds.

What other models should I be looking at? Urban arrow? Douze?

Probably whichever one you can get faster :). I like the UA, think it’s good for the price and is v functional. Budget allowing my first upgrade would be to a Rohloff gear system tho

That's one advantage of having gone for the relatively top end of the market bike. Makes most other bikes affordable with extra expenditure
