• I'm more convinced by the day that the camper company have used my van for someone else's build.

    I called them ~9am on Tuesday, they said they'd call me straight back, could see my email (from the previous week) and "owed me a response".

    Nothing.

    Called them this morning at the same time, "Oh yes, I'm going to call VW and then I'll call you straight away".

    ~3pm and nothing.

    Because I love the binfire thread and want to be in at as much as possible, I'll re-state that this is a brand new, heavily customised vehicle that's currently quoted cost is £72,000.

    Repeatedly having to chase, with no response, simply to ask the question "when is the van arriving?" isn't what I expected.

    I had anticipated some engagement with their design team ahead of the scheduled start of November delivery date by now, for e.g.

  • Perhaps their design guy has Maguras and has spent the last 3 months trying bleed them? No time for emails mate.

    Seriously though that is proper shitty customer service. What was their original timeframe?

  • Wait….. You’ve spent £72k on a on a VW!?!

    WTAF.
