Thanks. I'll never ever ride with a front mudguard again, that's for sure. Knew some people had bad crashes with baskets, but mudguards ... Didn't think that was a scenario.

I've heard of crashes like that. They're really rare, though. Unlucky!

Plenty of them have stays that pop out to avoid this situation, dunno if yours did but they didn't work. Heal up fast whatever.
