Yeah I am not impressed with the muc-off stuff. I feel it must be leaving some residue when it does that. (On Hope/Sram and Shimano systems)

It’s interesting you say that. As I don’t remember it happening to the same extent in years gone by. But I feel like I’ve pretty much always used muc off.
Is there a cheaper disc brake cleaner that’s any good?
You would think stuff marketed for motorbikes/cars would be cheaper than mtb but muc off markets themselves to motorbikes too.
Motorex brake cleaner is about the same price as muc off 🤷♀️I might give this a try
